"My first move was as a child, aged 11, moving from Ireland to Scotland then in 1980 I relocated to the Middle East as a single person. Within two years I had met my husband and went on to have three children in Dubai before moving to Singapore and then onto the United States where I had our fourth child. We did not have relocation assistance on any of our moves. So, I have "been there and done that" regarding relocating as a child, then as a single person, a wife, and as a mother. After spending twenty years abroad we returned to Aberdeen and I set about finding a house, ensuring the children got into a good school, getting a bank account, registering at a doctor and trying to find a good dentist etc. Everything I help my clients do now. To my knowledge I am the only relocation consultant in Aberdeen to have lived abroad for so long, and experienced so much".
